Why gold-plated and not pure 24K gold?
Pure gold is too soft to hold a magnet's structural integrity. AcuBody uses a magnetic core plated in 24K gold — the surface against your skin is hypoallergenic gold, while the core delivers the magnetic field. Different engineering requirement than our pure 24K gold ear seeds.
Are these safe with medical devices?
Avoid if you have a pacemaker, insulin pump, or other electronic medical implant — magnetic fields can interfere. Also avoid during pregnancy without practitioner guidance.
