Jade or amethyst?
Jade is the traditional TCM stone — warms with skin, grounding, classic. Amethyst is denser, stays cooler longer — better for de-puffing tired eyes and skin. Different energies, same practice.
Cold or room temperature?
Amethyst is at its best refrigerated — the stone holds the cold for the entire session, which is what makes it ideal for puffy mornings and tired eyes.
Roller or gua sha?
Roller is gentler and more meditative. Gua sha is more sculpting and lifting. Many use both — roller nightly, gua sha 2–3 times a week.
How often should I use it?
Daily, ideally morning for de-puffing. 3–5 minutes is plenty.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a damp cloth and gentle soap. Avoid submerging the metal hardware. Store in the pouch.
